TestimonialsJulie should be congratulated on a very successful year of endeavour. I am in great debt to her for her contribution. She has an enormous heart and will, I am sure, continue to strive, seek, find and not yield.
Ken Hames, motivational speaker, television presenter
You are most definitely a spectacular young person whose drive, motivation and enthusiasm are inspirational and a privilege to witness.
Julie is one of the most inspirational people I have ever met. I was fortunate to be introduced to her in 2009 and we have kept in close touch since. I always enjoy working with Julie as she has a superb sense of humour.
I have seen Julie present to a large audience and then been delighted with the feedback from attendees. Everyone feels she is a true inspiration as she works extra hard to overcome the physical difficulties she experiences.
I would recommend Julie to any employer or organisation who can realise her potential and help release the immense talent she has. I value Julie as a good friend and will assist in whatever way I can.
On meeting Julie last year I was immediately impressed by her intelligence, her zest for life and her warm humanity; those impressions have been reinforced since and are shared by all who come into contact with her. I believe Julie is a young woman with all the ability and personality to be a great success in whatever she does and to prove a motivation to others.
Julie is one of those remarkable individuals who has the character, confidence and determination to take on any challenge and overcome any obstacle. Julie sets herself stretching goals and I have no doubt she will continue to achieve these goals and be an inspiration to those around her.
Julie is a real inspiration to other disabled people, constantly setting herself new challenges and overcoming barriers that would stop most people in their tracks. Her motivational speech at one of Radar's leadership events, was one of the most well received of any we have had. Julie makes a difference, she challenges limiting beliefs and shows just what is possible. Julie epitomises what leadership is all about, pushing the boundaries, but supporting others to achieve their dreams. It is a privilege to work with Julie and I eagerly anticipate the next chapter in Julie's success story.
Julie McElroy’s drive, energy and indomitable will to succeed are evident from the first moment you meet her: Epitomizing the power of self-belief, she meets all of her challenges head on and refuses to be baulked by them.
Her recent address at an evening reception to a large number of Trust supporters about the inaugural Disability Wilderness Weekend on the Island of Arran was very well received. The Wilderness Project, run in conjunction with the National Trust for Scotland, aims to improve access to the outdoors for those living with disabilities. Feedback from guests at the reception was universally positive, with many of them referring to Julie as ‘inspirational’.
I would highly recommend Julie as a motivational speaker and hope to work with her again in the future.
